An order of congratuations go out to John Zirbel for landing the job of principal horn in Cincinnati. He will begin full-time in Cincinnati for the 2006-2007 season.

John Zirbel has been principal horn of the OSM [l'Orchestre symphonique de Montréal] since 1979. During that time he has been a soloist in numerous concerto performances with the Orchestra, including the 2001 premiere of Sérénade Héroïque, a horn concerto written for him by Quebec composer Jacques Hétu.
