Black Lion & French Horn

What a great name for a pub! Hey Londoners, send pictures and a full report please!

This pub isn't really one you'd write home about, but it's competent enough and a hell of a lot more appealing than the place opposite. It's a narrow little place with old oak panelled walls, but there's not much else to remark on. It's got pride and Adnams on the hand pumps and pretty average range of other fayre. Although we did like the offer of Champagne at £15 per bottle. It's a lively enough place, populated mainly by people who work in the surrounding area, we suspect it's just far enough off Regent Street for most of the tourists to miss it.

Does it have anything to do with French Horns???

It has a french Horn at the

It has a french Horn at the far end of bar, no black lion though. Most locals know it as the dog and vomit, due to an old pub sign, which gave that impression. Top pub in the West End, Phil, Tom and Hayley always make it a laugh.

So it's worth a visit?

Could you get there by telling the cab driver to take you to the "dog and vomit"??? :-)
